In 2025

In Ramadan 2025, Moms Aid expanded its outreach efforts, continuing to provide essential food support and daily meals to families in need across the Maldives.

Our Care Baskets remained centered around practicality and cultural relevance, offering staple items sufficient for a household throughout the fasting month. Alongside this, our Iftar distribution ensured that many were able to break their fast with a wholesome meal, even in challenging circumstances.

Through the generosity of our supporters, we achieved:

• Distribution of 569 Care Baskets
• Delivery of 1,833 Iftar Meals

Each contribution played a role in easing the burden on families and strengthening the spirit of community that defines Ramadan.

In 2024

During the blessed month of Ramadan 2024, Moms Aid continued its commitment to supporting vulnerable families across the Maldives through our Ramadan Aid initiative.

Our Care Baskets were thoughtfully curated with essential food items commonly used in Maldivian households, ensuring that families had sufficient supplies to sustain them throughout the month. In addition, our Iftar Packages provided pre-prepared meals, enabling individuals and families to break their fast with dignity and nourishment.

With the support of our donors and partners, we were able to:

• Distribute 836 Care Baskets reaching 509 families
• Provide 1,573 Iftar Packages across various islands

This collective effort ensured that hundreds of families experienced a more secure and supported Ramadan.

In 2023

Thanks to the generous support of our donors and volunteers, we have been able to provide aid to 371 families in need. These families come from various parts of the country, each facing their own unique challenges. By providing them with Care Baskets, we aim to lighten their burden and bring some comfort during this sacred time. Our Care Baskets are carefully curated to include essential food items that can sustain a family throughout Ramadan. 

In addition to the Care Baskets, we have also distributed 1519 Iftar packages throughout Ramadan, to families registered on our care list. These Iftar packages contain pre-prepared meals, allowing families to break their fast with a wholesome and satisfying meal. 

In 2022

We successfully provided food packages to over 200 families in different parts of the country in preparation for the month of Ramadan in 2022. Our annual effort to assist families in need has helped ensure that they can have a fulfilling meal during the noble month, just like everyone else. 

In 2021

We were able to conclude our fundraising campaign “Help A Family This Ramadan” successfully. Through this campaign we were able to disseminate food packages worth more than 1000/- to 125 families living across the country.

We also donated food packages costing MVR 4,000 to very vulnerable families under our care. This was to ensure that these families had food on their tables during the auspicious month of Ramadan.

We would like to convey our heartfelt gratitude to the businesses and contributors who generously donated to this wonderful cause. This campaign would not have been successful without your gracious help.

We dedicated the reminder of the  donations to helping needy families in the coming months.
