Back to School Campaign

At Moms Aid, we believe that all children must have equal rights to education, so we initiated the Back to School Campaign in 2019 with the aim of ensuring that no child is left behind without proper school essentials when the academic year commences.

Through the Back-to-School campaign from 2019-2022, we were able to provide school essential packages worth over MVR 1500 per child for over 400 children from the most vulnerable families under our care.

These children belong to different islands of the country. From the selected families, there are mothers who are single or widowed with no support from extended family members. Some of these children are with disabilities or chronic illnesses

This campaign has been a huge success enabling children from these vulnerable families to start a happy and successful academic year since 2019.
