At Moms Aid, one of our largest ongoing initiatives, Hiyavahi 2026, is now underway. This marks our 8th housing project, a milestone that reflects years of standing beside vulnerable families and working together as a community to create safer futures.
This year, we are focusing on supporting Mary, a mother of five young children, all under the age of 18. Throughout her life, Mary has faced severe hardships, including domestic abuse and ongoing struggles to provide stability for her children. Despite everything she has endured, she continues to fight every single day to protect and care for her family with strength and courage.
Our goal through Hiyavahi 2026 is simple but life-changing: to help provide Mary and her children with a safe, secure, and stable place they can finally call home.
Over the past weeks, we have been deeply encouraged by the kindness and generosity already shown by donors and supporters. We are grateful to share that we have received some contributions toward this project. However, we are still far from reaching the target needed to complete the home and provide this family with the safety and dignity they deserve.
We can only achieve this with your help.
Every donation, no matter the amount, brings us one step closer to completing this project and changing the lives of a mother and her five children. Your support is not just helping to build a house it is helping rebuild hope, security, and a future.
