MOMS Expo

MOMS Expo is the first of its kind in the Maldives. MOMS initiated this unique exhibition in 2019 with the vision of empowering Maldivian Women Entrepreneurs by providing a platform for them to connect, inspire and get guidance to take their businesses to the next level. This exposition aims to give opportunities for skillful Small & Medium Entrepreneurs, especially the Momtrepreneurs all across the country to exhibit their talents and build more contacts to develop their small home-based businesses.

During the year MOMS Expo embarked, First Lady Fazna Ahmed inaugurated the two-day (4th & 5th of October 2019) exhibition. It was a successful and well-received event held at the Billabong International School in the capital city of Male’ with more than 70 women-led businesses.

In the years from 2020 – 2022, MOMS recreated MOMS Expo on digital platforms in the name of “MOMS Online Expo”.

To support small businesses to thrive in a state of economic difficulty, MOMS Online Expo also aimed to raise funds for our “Hope for Moms” campaign where we help vulnerable families under our care on a daily basis. Over the past years, MOMS Expo has helped many businesses to connect with a vast number of customers and get additional sales as well as followers.
