Through the Eid Hadhiya project, which was initiated under our Rising Together campaign, we were able to successfully distribute Eid gifts to 86 children living in Fiyavathi, Hulhumale. The gift package included clothing items that could be worn on the special occasion of Eid, as well as a sweet treat for the children to enjoy.
We launched this project on social media platforms on April 8th, 2023, and we were thrilled to see such a positive response from everyone. Donors had the opportunity to purchase Eid clothing items and donate them to our cause, or alternatively, they could donate money to help us prepare customized gift packages for the children. Each package was labeled with the donor’s name and a special message for the child. We are extremely grateful to our donors for their support that made it possible for us to spread joy and love to these children, especially during such an important occasion.
We would also like to extend our gratitude to Ms. Zeena and the Fiyavathi team for giving us the opportunity to distribute these gifts to the children on behalf of our NGO and the donors.
At Moms Aid, we strongly believe in community involvement and collaboration. We always encourage individuals and organizations to join us in our efforts to support children and families in need.
Every child deserves to feel loved, valued, and supported, and we will continue to work towards achieving this goal. Our Eid Hadhiya project was just one of many initiatives that we plan to undertake to support children and families in need. We hope that our efforts inspire others to join us in spreading joy and love to those who need it the most. Together, we can make a difference and help create a better future for all.
