A movement by Moms Aid to raise awareness of the obstacles and barriers that stand against women who suffer abuse and violence. This nationwide campaign encourages the public to support survivors through advocacy and community actions against violence and abuse.
How we support survivors
Legal help:
We address the safety of survivors at risk of harm from intimate partners, ex-partners, or family members to secure their safety and the safety of their children. This can include supporting victims by demystifying the criminal justice system, and advocating on their behalf with other – often statutory – agencies
Mental health services:
We are committed to eliminating the stigma surrounding mental illness through education, and providing affordable mental health care. Through partnerships with existing clinics, we aim to increase access to mental health care for those in need. Everyone, everywhere should have someone to turn to in support of their mental health.
Domestic Abuse services:
We offer a range of specialist, confidential services that support survivors whether they have left their partner or not — including accommodation, community outreach support, independent advocacy and support for children.
Emergency shelter:
Safe, temporary accommodation for women and children escaping domestic abuse with access to one-to-one emotional support
Awareness session
We are dedicated to raising awareness on crucial issues affecting women in our society. Our awareness sessions aim to educate and inform individuals on topics such as domestic abuse, injustice against women, and other significant issues that impact women’s lives. We believe that by increasing awareness and knowledge, we can help empower women and create a safer and more equitable society for all.
